ABOUT THE LAW REVIEW
The Bristol Law Review is an independent, student-run journal supported by the Bristol Law School. Since 2013, the Bristol Law Review has strived to publish high quality legal scholarship from students and the legal community. In addition to a print publication, BLR has an online journal focusing on shorter work in conjunction with essay and case note prizes since 2014. Our most important criterion for publication is that your submission relates to a contemporary legal issue, though we will also consider outstanding historical or jurisprudential pieces. Your submission should provide critical insight into the area of law you have chosen.
The Managing Board takes pride in publishing the most exceptional submissions. To that end, the team of editors, comprising of undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Bristol, reviews each article at least three times, before shortlisting the submissions and moving on to a rigorous editing process.
For each Volume, the Bristol Law Review publishes one issue per year. The topics of the articles span across an array of different legal topics, provoking the reader's reflection and judgment. The review strives to be among the leading voices in debating the most significant and thought provoking legal issues in today's world.
